Read The Bible In A Year

If you currently do not have a reading schedule for the year, may I recommend one.  Presently, my wife and I are going through Robert Murray M'cheyne reading plan.  He was a 19th century Scottish Minister.  This reading plan will take you through the N.T. and Psalms twice and the rest of the Bible once.  Instead of reading four chapters out of one book of the Bible, or reading only the N.T. and Psalms (which is fine)  you read one chapter out of four different books of the Bible.

Whats the big deal?  Your daily readings are already out of both the O.T. and N.T. and as a result you begin to see the Bible as a whole, and not "parts."  Specifically, from this reading plan I really love how it reveals the unity of the Holy Scritptures and  how Moses, the Law, the Prophet's really do reveal, point towards and anticapte the Redeemer, Jesus.
 Luke 24: 27.

So, if you have a reading plan you may want to finish it out and begin next year, but for those kinda reading the bible in a  "hop-scotch" manner, begin today with this reading plan.

The reading plan can be accessed here and printed off :
